Student Leadership Development Program
Applications for the 2024 program are closed!
The Alabama Society of Radiologic Technologists (ALSRT) is looking for two (2) students who would like to further serve the field of radiology in the ASRT Student Leadership Development Program (SLDP) and attend the House of Delegates (HOD) Meeting, date to be announced. If selected as an SLDP participant, you will have a 3-year commitment to the ASRT and the ALSRT. ASRT 3-year commitment plan can be found on the ASRT website and ALSRT 3-year commitment plan can be seen below. ASRT will reimburse your ALSRT membership fee each year after you have successfully completed required commitments during the 3 years.
1st Year
- Encouraged to attend virtual Board Meetings
- Encouraged to attend ALSRT Annual and Fall Conference
- $10 ALSRT membership fee
2nd Year
- Be active on an ALSRT Committee
- Encouraged to attend ALSRT Annual and Fall Conference
- $20 ALSRT membership fee
3rd Year
- Intern with ALSRT Board Member
- Encouraged to attend ALSRT Annual and Fall Conference
- $30 ALSRT membership fee
** If selected as an SLDP participant and you move from the state of Alabama during the 3-year commitment, you must join another ASRT affiliate to complete your 3-year commitment plan.
