This lecture discusses chest radiographs and why they matter so much in healthcare, shedding light on their role in diagnosing and monitoring patient conditions.

$15.00

Digital Radiography Systems

This lecture provides an overview of digital radiography (DR) systems, including image formation, image processing, exposure indices and various imaging features relative to DR.

$12.50

Prescription and Dose Calculation: Part 1 – Concepts

Topics included in this presentation include the radiation therapy prescription, the treatment volumes, Dmax values, beam profiles, and a comparison of open field, 3D conformal, and IMRT techniques.

$10

Non-Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement

The gold standard for valve replacement is to have it replaced in the operating room. Many patients are not candidates for surgery though, and fortunately there is another less invasive option. This lecture will explain how the aortic valve works and the TAVR procedure to replace it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I have to take the Instructional Prerequisite Course?

This 5-minute course is designed to give you helpful information and answer many questions you might have, including information on post-tests, what to do if you run into technical problems, and where to find CE certificates for completed courses. This course only has to be completed once, but can be taken whenever you need a refresher.

I am not a member of the ALSRT. Can I still purchase an online CE?

Yes, online CEs are available to all registered technologists.

Are online CE credits only for RTs in Alabama?

No, online CEs are approved by the ASRT for RTs across the nation. You do not have to be an Alabama resident to complete these online CE courses.

Will these online CEs count towards CQR?

While every CE Course is reviewed by the ARRT for CQR credit, not all courses will be helpful in fulfilling structured education and CQR credits. Online CEs are marked on the CE Course page whether CQR has been approved.

I am an ALSRT member, but a CE Course page says I have to pay to access an online CE. Is this correct?

It depends. Some online CEs are available FREE to ALSRT members while some online CEs are not.  The easiest way to tell if you have FREE access is to login to your account first and then return to the CE Course page.  If it still has a price listed, then you have to purchase the CE Course to gain access.

How soon after completing a CE Course is the Certificate of Completion available?

Post-tests are taken online and are graded instantly. A Certificate of Completion is awarded directly after successfully passing a post-test.

How long do I have to complete online CEs before they expire?

Expiration dates differ among courses; however, these dates are listed on each CE Course page for your convenience.  Most courses are available for approximately 1 year from when they are first available online.

How do I save a CE certificate?

CE Certificates can be saved immediately after completing a Post-test or saved later from “My Account.” CE Certificates will always be available from “My Account” even after a course expires. For instructions on how to save a CE Certificate, click here.
